Production & Shipping Time
Because our jewelry is personalized & made to order, our production time fluctuates throughout the year depending on order volume. Our current production time is listed in the announcement bar at the top of our website. In general, most orders ship within 5-10 business days.
Ready to ship items generally ship within 2-3 business days, but if ordered with personalized items, will ship within the current stated production time.
Please keep in mind that our production times are approximate and can change without notice. We do our best to ship as quickly as possible, but handcrafted/personalized items do take time to make. We appreciate your patience!
We ship via the United States Postal Service to the U.S. and Canada at this time. Priority shipping upgrades are available at check out and are encouraged for any time sensitive purchases. Standard U.S. shipping is free on orders of $100+.
Once your order is shipped, we cannot control how quickly it arrives or what route it takes to reach you. If you have specific questions about delivery, please contact the shipping carrier.
If an order is returned to us because of an address-related issue or because USPS is unable to deliver the package for any reason, the customer is responsible for purchasing a new shipping label to have the item(s) re-shipped once the package is returned to sender.
Production time refers to the time it takes us to create your jewelry. Shipping time refers to the length of time it takes USPS to deliver your order once we ship it.
Please note that selecting a shipping upgrade at checkout *does not* speed up our production time.
Return & Exchange Policy
Due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are final. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, we strongly encourage you to contact us so we may assist you. We want you to be happy with your purchase!
Exchanges on non-personalized items are evaluated on a case by case basis. Items approved for exchange must be unworn in original packaging & all original packaging must be sent back with the item. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items that are customized in any way or sale items are not refundable or eligible for exchange. Because we begin production on orders immediately after they are placed, cancellations are not accepted more than 2 hours after order placement.
Placement of an order is a binding agreement. Once placed, all orders are considered final and may not be changed or cancelled except at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of offer or payment and to modify or cancel promotions due to system error or unforeseen problems.
In an effort to process your order as quickly as possible, once an order is placed it cannot be edited. Please ensure that you review all order details thoroughly before submitting your order. If you have any questions, please contact us at help@modernmerrigold.com!
If we made a mistake on your order, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery (noted on the tracking number) so we can rectify the issue. We may ask that you send the item back to us but will always cover the shipping fee.
Because our jewelry is personalized just for you & made to order, we cannot refund or accept returns on items that were made correctly by us but personalized incorrectly by the customer when ordering. Please be sure to double check your order before submitting to ensure all the details are correct.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or delivery issue with USPS, a new shipping label must be purchased for the original package to be resent when we receive it back. This can be done HERE.
If the re-shipment fee is not paid within 30 days of Modern Merrigold receiving the package back, the package will be considered forfeited and no refund will be given per our return and refund policy.
If we made a mistake on the address, we will reship the original package to you at no cost.
We are happy to provide our customers a complimentary 60 day warranty on our jewelry. The 60 day warranty begins on the date the order was delivered and ends 60 calendar days after the order was delivered (or 75 days after the date the order was placed). This complimentary warranty covers the following instances:
- If a necklace chain made by us breaks, we will repair or replace the chain at no cost to the customer
- If a charm breaks or falls off of any of our keychains or bangle bracelets, we will replace the charm at no cost to the customer
This warranty does not cover:
- Customer error when ordering (selecting wrong metal finish, size, or color, misspellings, etc)
- Items lost in transit or stolen after being delivered (please refer to our Route Package Protection for help with this type of issue)
- Lost or misplaced jewelry
To submit a warranty claim, please email help@modernmerrigold.com with your order number (begins with MM followed by 5 numbers), a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item (if applicable).
We reserve the right to update or edit this policy as needed.
About the Jewelry
Our laser-engraved jewelry is made with stainless steel & 14k gold-plated stainless steel metal charms, chain, and findings.
We also offer a variety of sterling silver and 14k gold-filled jewelry. Our beaded jewelry is made with a variety of crystals, gemstones, and pearls, wire wrapped with high quality plated wire.
Each product description contains specific details about the materials used to create each item.
Keep in mind that our laser-engraved jewelry is made with metal, which is reflective and in certain lighting may look different.
Follow these simple steps to make your jewelry last:
1. Protect metal jewelry by removing it while washing hands, swimming, exercising, showering, cleaning, or applying any kind of personal body product.
2. Maintain your jewelry's shine by avoiding contact with agents like perfume, soap, lotion, makeup, hair products, & harsh cleaning products.
3. Store your jewelry in a safe place away from harsh elements, preferably in a jewelry box or in another enclosed, dry place.
4. Use the polishing cloth included in your order to regularly wipe the jewelry clean to remove dirt, lotions, etc.
We source our raw materials from both domestic and some foreign suppliers, but all of our jewelry is designed & created in the USA! Longview, Texas, to be exact. We strive to support local suppliers & vendors whenever we possibly can.

We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, each of which is a 100% secure way to pay. Cash or checks are not accepted.
